Who we are

HarV ("we," "us") operates the website harv-tech.com and related marketing pages. This policy describes how we handle information when you visit our public site or request a demo.

What we collect

  • Demo requests. When you submit the demo form, we collect the fields you enter (such as name, email, organization, and message). Today this information is stored in a spreadsheet used by our team to follow up. We do not sell this data.
  • Analytics (only if you allow that category). PostHog records pages viewed, referrers, campaign tags (UTM parameters), clicks on key buttons, how far readers scroll on blog articles, and a session replay. Inputs are masked, and we do not send form field contents or email addresses to PostHog.
  • Performance (only if you allow that category). Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights collect cookieless page views and Core Web Vitals, as described in Vercel's documentation.
  • Admin area. The blog admin at /admin uses a login session cookie for editors only. Product analytics scripts do not run on admin pages.

Cookies and local storage

Necessary storage is always on so the site can remember your choice, including a no. In the privacy panel, analytics and performance start on. Nothing is recorded until you choose Accept all or Save. Reject all turns both off and stores that answer. You can change this later from Privacy policy in the footer.

NecessaryAlways on. You cannot turn this off.

harv_consent

Until you clear site data

Local storage of your analytics and performance choices. Not an advertising id.

harv_editor_session

Editor session

HttpOnly cookie for people signed in at /admin. Public visitors do not get it.

AnalyticsStarts on in the panel. Nothing runs until you save or choose Accept all. Reject all leaves it off.

PostHog

Only after you allow Analytics

Cookie and local storage so return visits can be told apart, plus a session replay. Form fields are masked. No demo-form emails.

PerformanceStarts on in the panel. Nothing runs until you save or choose Accept all. Reject all leaves it off.

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights

Only after you allow Performance

Cookieless beacons for page views and Core Web Vitals. They do not run on Reject all.

AdvertisingNot used. There is nothing to turn on.

No Meta pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, ZoomInfo, or similar. A new script, such as a chat widget, newsletter tool, or ad pixel, has to be added under its own category in the same change that ships it, and it must not load before that category is on. Trackers do not go in Necessary.

Why we use this information

We use demo requests to respond to you. We use analytics to see whether our blog and landing pages are helpful, which topics get attention, and how visitors find us, so we can improve content and the site experience.

United States and Canada

We primarily serve visitors in the United States and Canada. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. Analytics and performance tools are optional via the cookie banner. Demo data is processed because you submit the form.
